Why do i have to pay for staying one night at the quick stop?
Ok i'm booking a flight. PHX-TPA tampa. figured i may just fly out to Atlanta to visit my very close friend. But it has a quickstop in denver? where my other friend lives? PHX-DEN DEN-TPA=320.00 PHX-DEN DEN-ATL ATL-TPA $420.00 Same flight plan but plan on staying in denver 24 hours. same as me staying in atlanta. Can understand charging me $100 for atlanta concidering their is no quickie to atl. but why do i get charged another $100 for staying a night in the quick stop location? why do i have to go on THAT flight? why can't i just rest a day?

Nobody really understands how airlines calculate their fares . All you can do is hassle them for an explanation but don't be surprised if you don't get any joy .
