Anyone know a cheap flight route to Tampa from the UK? I'm not bothered about going 'round the houses'!?
I need to get to Tampa for the 25th of Oct (so probably need to arrive on the 24th or 23rd as it's for a cruise departure). I'm travelling from the UK. My nearest airports are Leeds/Bradford & Manchester but I can go from wherever in the UK. Does anyone know a cheap way of getting there? i know it's sometimes cheaper to fly to somewhere else in the US and get an internal flight to Tampa. Thankss in advance! Need to return on the 1st Nov or 2nd.

American Airlines has flights from Manchester to Chicago, then to Tampa for $830.80. Don't know what that is in pounds. British Airways has flights from Manchester to Gatwick, then to Tampa for 772.50 quid.

i don't really get your question that well but ill try to answer. Yes it is cheaper to take a stop in the US. You can find the cheapest stops on all airline consolidator websites. Try searching http://flyairfares.com

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
