Is this enough time to get to cruise ship?
So our cruise ship leaves at 4 pm and our flight arrives in Tampa at 10:47a.m. on the same day as departure. Is this enough time to get to our ship (we port out of Tampa) or are we pushing it?

I am assuming your ship leaves out of Tampa.. You will be fine. I work for a cruise line and we encourage people not to board early as the lines are so long. If you make it there by 1:00 PM, you will be pleasantly surprised at how short the line is..

You have plent of time as long as there are no delays with your flight. You can usually board your ship too around 12-1. Enjoy! I've been on 4 cruises and have another planned for Jan 2011.

If you can make it early you should do that because it doesn't take long to sign in and relax. Make sure you have an appetite Because they have some good food when you board. Try to get there early to relax!!

Depends on where you're flying in from and at what time of year. If there's any risk at all of bad weather, you're taking a chance. And there's always the possibility of delays for other reasons. That's why it's always a good idea to fly to your departure port the day before. That being said, if all goes well, you'll be fine. Passengers can usually check in before the stated check-in time and begin enjoying the ship, although you cannot usually go to your cabin until about 1:30 or so. Make sure you have a bathing suit in your carry-on because your luggage may not arrive in your cabin until after dinner and you'll want to change.

It really can be an issue, only if the flight is really delayed. If the flight is on time, you should be fine. Plan on taking a car service to the port though.
