Where all have you been looking? Tampa and Philly are both big airports, so it shouldn't be too tough finding cheap airfare. $160 is dirt cheap and might be the cheapest you'll find. Tickets usually go up around holidays and spring break. When were you thinking about flying? If at all possible i'd leave and arrive on less popular days, unless an airline is offering a special. I used to fly from Minneapolis to Tampa here and there. By leaving on a Monday and coming back on a Monday/Tuesday I was able to save some cash. If you're looking to do a little bit of research check out http://www.rightflight.org. Their website is a little cumbersome at times, but the information is good. It has direct links to most of the online airline providers as well. May be worth checking into. Hope I could help!

160$ is cheap, I can't believe you let that price slip by. Even a buddy plan would cost about the same amount of money by the time you got finished adding on taxes and fuel surcharges, plus with a ticket your a confirmed passenger and with a buddy pass you may not get on the flight at all. I'd keep checking the flights every day for the next two weeks, the prices do fluctuate every couple of days. BTW, RT tickets are actually cheaper than one way tickets.
